Welcome Back!

As we start back to school, I want to welcome all to the beginning of the school year.  I also want to thank parents for making it possible for your  child to attend the summer program.  The students maintained reading growth and continued to practice math skills.

As we survey parents after a Title 1 program.  I want to give you all an opportunity to make suggestions or comments in what Title 1A can do for you.  You can do this in several ways.  Send in a note with your child or e-mail me, complete one of our surveys or make a phone call to me or the office (666-5779) at school.

Thank You

As summer vacation is quickly coming to an end.  I want to thank parents who were able to transport their child to our summer program.  Each Wednesday students participated in a mini-lessons strategy, received individual reading support and a math lesson.  After the Title 1 program most of the students participated in the library session a read aloud with an art activity.  I wish I had some photo to share their experiences (next year).        I look forward to welcoming them back to school on Tuesday!
